This Act prohibits the use of any United States embassy, consulate, or diplomatic residence for the purpose of fundraising for any foreign political party or candidate. The legislation clarifies that while diplomatic engagement with foreign political entities is a core function, using U.S. government property to provide a financial or electoral boost to a foreign political campaign is strictly forbidden. The Restore Trust in Congress Act establishes strict new rules prohibiting Members of Congress and their immediate families from owning or trading specific financial assets, referred to as "covered investments," while in office. This Act prohibits discrimination against individuals based on disability or age in federal jury service. The legislation updates existing jury qualification standards to reflect this nondiscrimination principle.

This bill, the District of Columbia National Guard Home Rule Act, transfers full command authority of the D.C. National Guard from the President of the United States to the Mayor of the District of Columbia. The Marijuana Opportunity Reinvestment and Expungement (MORE) Act seeks to federally decriminalize cannabis by removing it from the Controlled Substances Act, which will retroactively apply to past offenses. The bill establishes an Opportunity Trust Fund, financed by new cannabis taxes, to reinvest in communities harmed by prohibition. The Keep Seniors Fed Act makes technical amendments to the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 regarding how income is calculated for food assistance eligibility. Specifically, it mandates that income received under Title II of the Social Security Act must now be counted when determining eligibility for benefits. These changes will take effect 90 days after the bill is signed into law.
