The "Safeguarding American Workers Benefits Act" amends the Internal Revenue Code to modify Social Security number (SSN) requirements for the Child Tax Credit and the Earned Income Tax Credit. It mandates that to claim these credits, the SSN must be issued by the Social Security Administration to a U.S. citizen or someone authorized to work in the U.S. These modifications will be effective for taxable years beginning after December 31, 2025.

The "Educational Choice for Children Act of 2025" establishes a federal tax credit for individual contributions to scholarship granting organizations that provide scholarships to eligible students for qualified education expenses. It also exempts these scholarship amounts from gross income and protects scholarship organizations and non-public schools from governmental control, ensuring parental choice in education. The tax credit is limited to the greater of 10% of adjusted gross income or $5,000, subject to a national volume cap, and is reduced by any state tax credits received for the same contributions.

The "Stop Illegal Reentry Act" increases the penalties for individuals who illegally reenter the United States after having been deported or removed. It raises the maximum prison sentence for general illegal reentry to five years. Repeat offenders or those with prior felony convictions could face up to 10 years, and aggravated felons or repeat re-entrants could face a mandatory minimum of five years and up to 20 years in prison.

The "Defund the CFPB Act" amends the Consumer Financial Protection Act of 2010 to eliminate the Director of the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection's ability to request funds for the Bureau's activities, effectively setting the funding limit to $0.

The "Abundant American Resources Act of 2025" mandates studies to assess the dollar value of onshore and offshore mineral resources on federal lands. These studies will be conducted by the Bureau of Land Management, the Forest Service, and the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, and will help determine the economic potential of resources like oil, gas, and other minerals in specific areas, excluding national parks and certain older national monuments. The goal is to evaluate mineral values in national monuments, critical environmental concern areas, and areas withdrawn from mineral development.

The "Protect American Election Administration Act of 2025" prohibits states from accepting or using private donations to administer federal elections, including voter outreach and registration, with an exception for donated space for polling places. This act amends the Help America Vote Act of 2002 to reflect these changes.

The Asylum Accountability Act amends the Immigration and Nationality Act, making individuals who fail to appear at their removal proceedings permanently ineligible for adjusting their immigration status. This eliminates the previous 10-year waiting period for such individuals to seek legal residency or citizenship.

The "Reining In Federal Licensing Enforcement Act of 2025" or the "RIFLE Act of 2025" aims to reform the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) by modifying penalties for Federal firearms licensees who commit civil violations, changing the process for license applications, and defining "willfully" in the context of firearms license violations. The bill also requires the Attorney General to reconsider denied firearm license applications based on the new rules, establish formal inspection standards, and limit the use of firearms purchaser information. Additionally, it provides opportunities to cure violations after the acquisition of a firearms business and sets standards for criminal violations of recordkeeping requirements.

This bill proposes a constitutional amendment to fix the number of Supreme Court justices at nine. For this amendment to be valid, three-fourths of the state legislatures must ratify it within seven years of its submission.

This resolution formally expresses the House of Representatives' support for the "Day of Tears" to mourn the estimated 62 million unborn lives lost since 1973. It encourages the lowering of United States flags to half-staff on January 22nd each year to honor these lives. This clarification applies to those born after the Act's enactment, ensuring that citizenship is tied to a parent's connection to the U.S. The bill specifies the criteria for being "subject to the jurisdiction" of the United States for citizenship at birth.

Sarah's Law mandates the detention of aliens who are charged with or have committed crimes resulting in death or serious bodily injury. It requires the Department of Homeland Security to gather information about victims of crimes committed by these aliens and provide them with timely updates about the alien's status and removal efforts. The law also ensures that victims' rights under other laws are protected.

The "No Retaining Every Gun In a System That Restricts Your Rights Act" mandates the Director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) to destroy all firearm transaction records of discontinued firearms businesses within 90 days of enactment. It also eliminates the requirement for these businesses to send these records to the Attorney General. Finally, the Act requires the Director of the ATF to submit a report to Congress detailing the number of records destroyed.

The Muhammad Ali Congressional Gold Medal Act authorizes the presentation of a Congressional Gold Medal to Muhammad Ali posthumously, in recognition of his achievements as an athlete, civil rights champion, and humanitarian. Following the presentation, the medal will be given to his wife, Lonnie Ali. The Act also permits the creation and sale of bronze duplicates of the gold medal to cover production costs, with proceeds deposited into the United States Mint Public Enterprise Fund.

The "Make the Migrant Protection Protocols Mandatory Act of 2025" makes it mandatory for the Department of Homeland Security to implement the Migrant Protection Protocols, which require certain migrants to remain in a foreign country while awaiting immigration proceedings in the U.S. This is achieved by changing the language in the Immigration and Nationality Act from permissive to mandatory regarding the implementation of these protocols.

The "No Tax on Tips Act" allows an above-the-line tax deduction for up to $25,000 in qualified tips for workers in traditionally tipped occupations, excluding higher-income earners. It also extends the employer social security tax credit to include beauty service establishments, aiming to reduce the tax burden on tipped workers and incentivize accurate tip reporting. This goes into effect for taxable years beginning after December 31, 2024.

The SHOW UP Act of 2025 mandates that Executive agencies revert to pre-pandemic telework policies and levels from December 31, 2019, within 30 days. Further telework expansion is prohibited until agencies submit a study to Congress on the impacts of telework during the pandemic, along with a plan certified by the Director of the Office of Personnel Management. This plan must demonstrate positive effects on the agency's mission, cost reduction, and adequate resources for teleworkers, and agencies cannot implement telework expansion plans without the Director's certification. The Act aims to address concerns about the impact of expanded telework on agency performance, costs, and workforce distribution.

The "Red Snapper Act of 2025" restricts the Secretary of Commerce from implementing area closures for snapper-grouper fisheries in the South Atlantic until the South Atlantic Great Red Snapper Count study is completed and its data is integrated into a red snapper stock assessment. This aims to ensure fishery management decisions are based on the most current data, potentially mitigating negative economic impacts on recreational fishing.

The "Federal Agency Sunset Commission Act of 2025" establishes a commission to review the efficiency and public need for federal agencies, potentially leading to their abolishment unless Congress reauthorizes them. The commission will submit recommendations to Congress, which will then vote on whether to abolish, reorganize, or continue each agency. This act aims to increase government accountability and efficiency by regularly evaluating the necessity and performance of federal agencies. The bill also creates a program inventory to help with the review process.
