Title III outlines general provisions, such as background checks, application processes, and fee exemptions, applicable to all seeking to adjust their status under this Act.

Ethan's Law aims to reduce gun violence by promoting responsible firearm storage. It establishes new requirements for securing firearms in homes to prevent access by minors and individuals prohibited from possessing them, with penalties for improper storage. The law also creates a grant program to support states and Indian Tribes in implementing similar safe storage laws and expresses that failure to safely store firearms constitutes negligence. Finally, the law states that if any part of the law is found to be invalid, the remaining parts will still be considered valid and remain in effect.

The Public Safety Employer-Employee Cooperation Act establishes a framework for collective bargaining rights for public safety officers (law enforcement, firefighters, and emergency medical services personnel) at the state level. It directs the Federal Labor Relations Authority to determine if states substantially protect these rights, and if not, the Authority will establish collective bargaining procedures. The registry will serve as a private internal database to organize reunions and maintain information on divided families, including those who may have passed away.

The Disaster Survivors Fairness Act of 2025 aims to improve FEMA's disaster assistance programs by streamlining the application process through a unified system and universal application, expanding eligibility for housing assistance, and allowing direct assistance for home repairs. The act also focuses on better support for renters, hazard mitigation, and state-managed housing programs, while increasing transparency through online dashboards and required reports. Additionally, the bill addresses management costs, funding for online post-disaster guides, and sheltering for emergency response personnel. The "Protect Our Letter Carriers Act of 2025" aims to protect postal workers by allocating funds for high-security collection boxes and electronic mailbox keys. It also mandates the appointment of dedicated attorneys to prosecute crimes against postal employees and directs the Sentencing Commission to increase penalties for assaulting or robbing them.
