The Valor Earned Not Stolen Act of 2025 increases the maximum prison sentence from one to three years for individuals who fraudulently claim to have received military medals, decorations, or combat badges. Additionally, the bill mandates a federal study to identify and address instances where such fraudulent claims have been used to illegally obtain government or veteran benefits.

This bill seeks to expunge the January 13, 2021, impeachment of President Donald J. Trump, effectively removing it from the historical record. It argues the impeachment was conducted without proper due process, lacked critical context, and did not prove Trump committed impeachable offenses or engaged in insurrection. The bill asserts that the impeachment should be expunged to ensure Trump is not barred from holding future office.

The Veterans’ True Choice Act of 2025 allows veterans with service-connected disabilities (VA priority groups 1, 2, or 3) to enroll in TRICARE Select or TRICARE for Life as an alternative to VA health care. By choosing TRICARE, these veterans would transition out of the VA patient enrollment system, with the VA reimbursing the Department of Defense for the associated costs. This legislation aims to provide eligible veterans with greater flexibility and expanded access to their health care providers.

The Laken Riley Act mandates the detention of undocumented immigrants who are charged with or convicted of theft-related offenses. Additionally, the bill empowers state attorneys general to sue federal officials for failures in enforcing immigration detention, removal, and parole laws.

The Abolish the ATF Act is a legislative proposal that mandates the immediate dissolution of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. This bill seeks to formally terminate the agency and eliminate its federal oversight functions.

The State Immigration Enforcement Act authorizes states and local governments to enact and enforce their own criminal and civil penalties for violations of federal immigration law. Under this legislation, state-level penalties must align with, and cannot exceed, the maximum penalties established by existing federal statutes.

The "Finish the Wall Act" mandates the immediate resumption of border wall construction along the U.S.-Mexico border, requiring completion by September 30, 2026, using previously appropriated funds. The bill directs the Department of Homeland Security to execute comprehensive infrastructure and technology plans while honoring existing construction contracts. Additionally, it requires the agency to certify full compliance with federal DNA collection requirements for individuals in Customs and Border Protection custody.

Grant’s Law mandates the detention of unlawfully present noncitizens arrested for specific criminal offenses, shifting custody authority to the Secretary of Homeland Security. The bill further requires that removal proceedings for these individuals be completed within 90 days of their detention.

The Regulations from the Executive in Need of Scrutiny (REINS) Act of 2025 aims to increase federal regulatory accountability by requiring Congress to approve any "major" rule before it can take effect. Under this legislation, rules with a significant economic impact require a joint resolution of approval from both chambers of Congress to become law. By shifting this authority back to the legislative branch, the Act seeks to ensure greater transparency and oversight of the federal rulemaking process.

The FIND Act prohibits federal agencies from contracting with entities that discriminate against the firearm and ammunition industry. It requires federal contractors to certify they do not discriminate against firearm entities and prohibits them from awarding subcontracts to entities that do not provide a similar certification. Violations of these clauses will result in contract termination. The act defines "discriminate" as making judgments or refusing/limiting services based on biased criteria, rather than case-by-case evaluations, empirical data, financial risk, or legal non-compliance.

The "Fentanyl is a WMD Act" mandates the Department of Homeland Security to classify illicit fentanyl as a weapon of mass destruction. This directs the Assistant Secretary for the Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction Office to treat illicit fentanyl as such, as defined in the Homeland Security Act of 2002.

The Federal Reserve Transparency Act of 2025 mandates a comprehensive audit of the Federal Reserve System by the Comptroller General within one year. Following the audit, a detailed report must be submitted to Congress, including findings and recommendations. This act aims to increase transparency and accountability within the Federal Reserve System by repealing audit limitations.

The KAMALA Act prohibits housing and community development grants from being used to assist individuals who are not U.S. nationals or lawfully admitted for permanent residence. It also prevents the Secretary from providing grants to any state, local government, or Indian tribe that administers housing or community development programs offering assistance to individuals who are not U.S. nationals or lawfully admitted for permanent residence.
