The "Defending Domestic Orange Juice Production Act of 2025" mandates that pasteurized orange juice must have a minimum of 10.0% orange juice soluble solids by weight, excluding added sweeteners. This act revises existing standards for pasteurized orange juice, but allows the Secretary of Health and Human Services to modify these standards in the future.

The Dismantle DEI Act of 2025 aims to immediately rescind diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) mandates across the federal government, including shutting down related offices and banning specific ideological training for federal personnel and contractors. The bill prohibits the use of federal funds for DEI activities by grant recipients and mandates that federal advisory committees cease all such practices or face termination. Furthermore, it establishes strong enforcement mechanisms, allowing individuals to sue violators and seek financial penalties for non-compliance.

The "Drug Cartel Terrorist Designation Act" mandates the Secretary of State to report to Congress on whether certain Mexican drug cartels meet the criteria to be designated as foreign terrorist organizations, and to designate those that meet the criteria as such. This report must include detailed justifications for any cartel not designated. The Act does not expand asylum eligibility based on these designations.

This bill terminates the Department of Education, effectively eliminating the department on December 31, 2026.

The "Stop Illegal Reentry Act" increases the penalties for individuals who illegally reenter the United States after having been deported or removed. It raises the maximum prison sentence for general illegal reentry to five years. Repeat offenders or those with prior felony convictions could face up to 10 years, and aggravated felons or repeat re-entrants could face a mandatory minimum of five years and up to 20 years in prison.

The "Securing America's Land from Foreign Interference Act" prohibits members of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and entities under CCP control from purchasing public or private real estate within the United States and its territories. This includes the 50 states, Washington DC, and US territories.

The "Safeguarding American Workers Benefits Act" amends the Internal Revenue Code to modify Social Security number (SSN) requirements for the Child Tax Credit and the Earned Income Tax Credit. It mandates that to claim these credits, the SSN must be issued by the Social Security Administration to a U.S. citizen or someone authorized to work in the U.S. These modifications will be effective for taxable years beginning after December 31, 2025.

The "PROTECTS Act of 2025" prohibits federal funds from being used for gender transition procedures for individuals under 18, including surgeries and hormone therapies, with exceptions for certain medical conditions and genetic disorders. The bill defines "sex" as biologically determined male or female based on reproductive systems.

The "Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act" ensures that infants born alive after an abortion receive the same medical care as any other newborn, mandating immediate hospitalization and requiring healthcare practitioners to report any failures to comply. Violators face fines, imprisonment, and potential prosecution for homicide or attempted homicide, while the mother of the child cannot be prosecuted. The bill also allows the woman who had the abortion to file a civil action against anyone who violated the act. It defines abortion and attempts at abortion, and renames "Partial-Birth Abortions" to "Abortions" in relevant sections of the U.S. Code.

The "Strengthening our Servicemembers with Milk Act" mandates that the Department of Defense provide diverse milk options, including flavored, organic, and lactose-free varieties, in military dining facilities. It also prohibits the purchase of milk from entities owned or controlled by foreign adversaries.

The "National Constitutional Carry Act" aims to protect the Second Amendment rights of individuals to carry firearms in public for self-defense, as affirmed by Supreme Court decisions. It prevents state and local governments from restricting the carrying of firearms by legal U.S. citizens, whether residents or non-residents, in any public place, with exceptions for private property where firearms are prohibited and places with firearm screening. This act asserts that any state or local laws conflicting with this provision will be rendered ineffective.

This bill expresses the House of Representatives' belief that a sermon given at the National Prayer Service on January 21, 2025, was an act of political activism. The bill condemns the message delivered by the Right Reverend Mariann Edgar Budde during the service.

The "Hershel Woody Williams National Medal of Honor Monument Location Act" allows the National Medal of Honor Museum Foundation to build a monument on federal land in Washington, D.C., to honor Medal of Honor recipients. It places the National Medal of Honor Monument near the Lincoln Memorial, and overrides location restrictions to allow it to be within the Reserve, as defined in section 8902. All other provisions regarding commemorative works still apply.

The SANE Act of 2025 requires the Department of Veterans Affairs to employ at least one sexual assault nurse examiner at each of its hospitals and urgent care facilities or contract with other qualified health care providers to conduct sexual assault forensic examinations. Following an examination, the health care provider must verbally refer the individual to mental health care services offered by the Department of Veterans Affairs. The Secretary must ensure these new responsibilities do not negatively impact the existing patient care duties of Department employees. It also defines "sexual assault nurse examiner" and "sexual assault forensic examination" as defined in section 304(a) of the DNA Sexual Assault Justice Act of 2004.

The "No Retaining Every Gun In a System That Restricts Your Rights Act" mandates the Director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) to destroy all firearm transaction records of discontinued firearms businesses within 90 days of enactment. It also eliminates the requirement for these businesses to send these records to the Attorney General. Finally, the Act requires the Director of the ATF to submit a report to Congress detailing the number of records destroyed.

The "Federal Agency Sunset Commission Act of 2025" establishes a commission to review the efficiency and public need for federal agencies, potentially leading to their abolishment unless Congress reauthorizes them. The commission will submit recommendations to Congress, which will then vote on whether to abolish, reorganize, or continue each agency. This act aims to increase government accountability and efficiency by regularly evaluating the necessity and performance of federal agencies. The bill also creates a program inventory to help with the review process.

The "No Tax on Tips Act" allows an above-the-line tax deduction for up to $25,000 in qualified tips for workers in traditionally tipped occupations, excluding higher-income earners. It also extends the employer social security tax credit to include beauty service establishments, aiming to reduce the tax burden on tipped workers and incentivize accurate tip reporting. This goes into effect for taxable years beginning after December 31, 2024.

The "Veterans 2nd Amendment Restoration Act of 2025" seeks to restore the Second Amendment rights of veterans. It requires the Department of Veterans Affairs to notify the Attorney General that sharing veterans' personal information based solely on the need for a fiduciary was improper. Additionally, it clarifies that a determination of mental incompetence by the VA is insufficient to classify a veteran as a "mental defective" regarding federal firearms laws.

The "Red Snapper Act of 2025" restricts the Secretary of Commerce from implementing area closures for snapper-grouper fisheries in the South Atlantic until the South Atlantic Great Red Snapper Count study is completed and its data is integrated into a red snapper stock assessment. This aims to ensure fishery management decisions are based on the most current data, potentially mitigating negative economic impacts on recreational fishing.

The "AMERICANS Act" addresses the COVID-19 vaccine mandate's impact on service members by preventing new mandates without congressional approval and prohibiting adverse actions based solely on vaccination status. It offers remedies for those discharged or negatively affected, including discharge upgrades, reinstatement, and compensation. The act prioritizes retaining unvaccinated members, limits consideration of vaccination status for assignments, requires a COVID-19 vaccine exemption process, and terminates bonus repayment obligations for those separated due to vaccine refusal.
