The Law-Enforcement Innovate to De-Escalate Act aims to promote de-escalation by exempting specific, clearly defined less-than-lethal projectile devices from federal firearm restrictions and excise taxes. This legislation provides a formal process for determining which devices qualify for these exemptions under both federal law and the National Firearms Act. The bill also modernizes tax regulations by exempting qualifying less-than-lethal devices and their ammunition from federal excise taxes.

The Recycled Materials Attribution Act of 2026 establishes national standards for making recycled content claims in commerce. This bill recognizes mass balance accounting as an acceptable method for substantiating these claims, provided it adheres to a third-party certification system. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is tasked with updating its Green Guides to reflect these standards and will enforce prohibitions against misleading recycled content claims. Furthermore, the Act preempts state and local regulations concerning the enforcement of these federal standards.

The Stop Settlement Slush Funds Act of 2026 restricts the U.S. government from entering into settlement agreements that mandate payments to third parties, except for direct restitution or payment for services rendered. This legislation aims to prevent the use of settlement funds for purposes other than remedying harm to the United States or its citizens. The Act also establishes reporting and annual audit requirements for federal agencies regarding these settlement agreements.

This bill, the "Passports for Purple Hearts and Medals of Honor Act," exempts recipients of the Purple Heart and Medal of Honor from paying standard U.S. passport fees. It directs the State Department to coordinate with the Department of Defense to establish verification procedures for these eligible applicants.

This bill, the No Federal Funds for Ballot Harvesting Act, prohibits the use of federal election administration funds in any state that permits third parties to collect and transmit absentee ballots. It mandates that states must ban the practice commonly known as "ballot harvesting" to remain eligible for federal election funding. Exceptions are made for election officials, mail carriers, and immediate family or caregivers of the voter.

This bill temporarily modifies the rules for handling questions of privilege in the House of Representatives concerning the conduct of a Member for the remainder of the 119th Congress. It establishes a new cosponsorship threshold of one-fifth of the House membership for resolutions addressing member conduct offered from the floor by leadership. This change also applies to the announcement of intent to offer such a resolution.

The Veterans Education and Technical Skills Opportunity Act of 2025 modernizes GI Bill benefits and support for service members and veterans. This bill revises the repayment timing for service members who contribute to their Post-9/11 GI Bill benefits and expands eligibility for independent study programs. It also provides service members with new options when called to active duty during their education and updates compliance survey procedures for educational institutions.

This bill proposes to amend the Internal Revenue Code to revoke the tax-exempt status of any organization that provides or funds abortions. This revocation would apply unless the abortion is necessary to save the life of the mother or results from rape or incest. Organizations that lose this status would also no longer be eligible for tax-deductible charitable contributions.

The Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act (SAVE America Act) mandates that individuals must provide documentary proof of U.S. citizenship to register to vote in federal elections. It also establishes a federal requirement for voters to present a photo ID indicating U.S. citizenship when casting a ballot in federal elections. The bill outlines specific acceptable forms of proof and requires states to implement verification programs to ensure only citizens are registered and voting.

The SCAM Act establishes new grounds for the government to revoke the citizenship of naturalized individuals. It allows for denaturalization if a person commits fraud against the government, joins a terrorist organization, or commits an aggravated felony within ten years of naturalization. These actions are deemed proof that the individual lacked good moral character at the time they became a citizen. Revocation of citizenship under this Act is retroactive to the original date of naturalization.

The Veterans’ Bill of Rights Act of 2026 formally codifies the fundamental rights of veterans to receive respectful, transparent, and timely access to VA health care and benefits. This legislation mandates that the Department of Veterans Affairs integrate these rights into all policies, training, and communications to ensure consistent accountability. By establishing these clear standards, the Act reinforces the nation’s commitment to supporting those who have served.

The Renewed Hope Act strengthens efforts to combat child sexual exploitation by mandating the hiring of additional forensic analysts and investigators within the Department of Homeland Security. The bill establishes specialized training programs, improves inter-agency coordination, and provides direct hiring authority to accelerate the rescue of victims. Additionally, it implements strict privacy protections to ensure that sensitive victim information is handled securely by law enforcement.

The SAFE KIDS Act addresses national security concerns by invalidating surrogacy agreements between U.S. surrogates and prospective parents from designated "foreign entities of concern." This legislation voids such contracts and imposes penalties on surrogacy brokers who facilitate these arrangements. The bill ensures that custody decisions for children born under these void agreements are based solely on the child's best interests under state law.

The Coercion and Sexual Abuse Free Environment (CSAFE) Act establishes a new federal crime for intentionally compelling a minor to engage in harmful acts, including self-harm, animal crushing, or abusive nonsexual or sexually explicit conduct. This law applies when using mail, interstate commerce, or within U.S. jurisdiction, defining "compel" to include threats, fraud, or manipulation. Penalties range up to 10 years imprisonment, increasing significantly if serious bodily injury or death results.

This bill amends the Victims of Crime Act of 1984 to temporarily exclude certain False Claims Act recoveries from being deposited into the Crime Victims Fund through fiscal year 2029. It also mandates a comprehensive audit by the Department of Justice Inspector General on the Fund's sustainability and the impact of recent legislative changes. The resulting report will provide recommendations for improving the Fund's effectiveness and oversight.

This bill officially designates January 9, 2026, as "National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day" to honor the service and sacrifice of law enforcement officers nationwide. It also establishes National Police Week and National Peace Officers Memorial Day (May 15th) to commemorate officers who have died in the line of duty. The legislation encourages the President to issue annual proclamations recognizing these days and calls for flags to be flown at half-staff on Memorial Day.

This act establishes a nonprofit corporation to exclusively support the athletic programs of the United States Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA). The legislation authorizes the Secretary of Transportation to enter into agreements with this corporation for contracts, property leases, and the transfer of existing athletic support assets. Furthermore, it clarifies the authority for licensing USMMA trademarks and retaining associated fees for use in recruiting activities.
