The Protecting Life and Integrity in Research Act of 2025 bans all federal funding or support for research utilizing human fetal tissue obtained specifically from an induced abortion. The Medicare Home Health Accessibility Act updates Medicare rules to explicitly include the need for occupational therapy as a valid basis for qualifying for home health services under both Part A and Part B. This change ensures that occupational therapy is treated equally alongside physical and speech therapy when determining eligibility for in-home care. These new provisions will take effect for services provided on or after January 1, 2026.

Within two years, the Secretary of Health and Human Services must select a location for the office in an Abraham Accords country. The Secretary must submit a report to Congress within three years on the Abraham Accords Office. This act aims to align regulatory requirements and improve coordination between the FDA and entities in Abraham Accords countries.

The "Harmful Algal Bloom Disaster Relief Act" amends the Stafford Act to include algal blooms as a condition in which disaster relief and emergency assistance can be given. This change will allow states to receive federal assistance in the event of an algal bloom.
