The Hearing Protection Act aims to remove silencers from the purview of the National Firearms Act (NFA) by treating them similarly to standard firearms under federal tax law. The Rosie the Riveter Commemorative Coin Act directs the Secretary of the Treasury to mint and issue a series of commemorative coins in 2028 to honor the diverse women who served on the Home Front during World War II. Proceeds from the sale of these coins will support the Rosie the Riveter Trust in its efforts to maintain the Rosie the Riveter/WWII Home Front National Historical Park and fund educational programs. This initiative ensures the legacy of these essential workers is preserved and recognized through a national numismatic program.

The Regulation Reduction Act of 2025 mandates that federal agencies repeal at least three existing regulations before issuing any new rule. For major rules, the legislation further requires that the cost of the new regulation be offset by the cost savings of the repealed rules. Additionally, the bill directs agencies to conduct a comprehensive review to identify and eliminate outdated, duplicative, or ineffective regulatory burdens.

The Combating Global Corruption Act of 2025 mandates an annual State Department report that ranks foreign countries based on their efforts to combat corruption. The bill establishes clear minimum standards for anti-corruption measures and requires the designation of diplomatic points of contact to promote good governance. Additionally, it encourages the use of targeted sanctions against corrupt actors in countries that fail to meet these international standards.

This bill designates January 13th of each year as Korean American Day. It recognizes the important influence, contributions, and sacrifices of Korean Americans in the United States, and celebrates the 122nd anniversary of the arrival of the first Korean immigrants to the U.S. The bill encourages all Americans to acknowledge and celebrate the integral role of Korean Americans in strengthening the ties between the United States and the Republic of Korea.

The States’ Education Reclamation Act of 2025 proposes the abolition of the federal Department of Education to return primary authority over schooling to states and local communities. The bill replaces current federal education programs with direct block grants to states, ensuring funding remains available for elementary, secondary, and postsecondary education while mandating strict fiscal accountability. Certain essential programs would be transferred to other federal agencies, and the legislation requires a formal plan for the Department’s closure.

The Sea Turtle Rescue Assistance and Rehabilitation Act of 2025 establishes a dedicated grant program and emergency fund to support the rescue and rehabilitation of stranded sea turtles. By amending the Marine Mammal Protection Act, this legislation provides critical resources and standardized support for organizations dedicated to sea turtle conservation. The act ensures that both marine mammals and sea turtles have the necessary financial backing to respond effectively to stranding events.

The REMAIN in Mexico Act of 2025 mandates that the Secretary of Homeland Security reinstate the Migrant Protection Protocols (MPP). This legislation requires that asylum seekers be returned to Mexico to await their U.S. immigration proceedings, effectively codifying the 2019 policy guidance into law.

The FIND Act prohibits federal agencies from contracting with entities that discriminate against the firearm and ammunition industry. It requires federal contractors to certify they do not discriminate against firearm entities and prohibits them from awarding subcontracts to entities that do not provide a similar certification. Violations of these clauses will result in contract termination. The act defines "discriminate" as making judgments or refusing/limiting services based on biased criteria, rather than case-by-case evaluations, empirical data, financial risk, or legal non-compliance.

The Election Day Act designates Election Day as a federal legal public holiday. This change aims to increase voter participation by ensuring more citizens have the time and opportunity to cast their ballots.
