The "Fort Ontario Holocaust Refugee Shelter National Historical Park Establishment Act" establishes the Fort Ontario Holocaust Refugee Shelter National Historical Park as part of the National Park System. This park will preserve and interpret the history of the 982 Holocaust refugees housed at Fort Ontario during World War II. The Department of Interior will manage the park and is authorized to acquire land for the park through donation, purchase, or exchange, and must complete a management plan within three years.
