The SHOW UP Act of 2025 requires executive agencies to revert their telework policies to pre-pandemic levels by December 31, 2019. Any future expansion of telework must be supported by a comprehensive impact study and certified by the Office of Personnel Management to ensure it improves mission performance and reduces agency costs.

The Chiropractic Medicare Coverage Modernization Act of 2025 expands Medicare coverage to include all services legally authorized under a chiropractor’s state license, moving beyond the current restriction limited to manual spinal manipulation. This legislation aligns Medicare benefits with private insurance and other federal health programs to better reflect modern chiropractic practice. To provide these expanded services, chiropractors will be required to complete a one-time training program verified by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.

The Veterans Member Business Loan Act amends the Federal Credit Union Act to include loans made to veterans within the definition of "member business loans." This change aims to expand access to capital for veteran-owned businesses by facilitating easier lending through credit unions.

The "No Tax on Tips Act" proposes a federal tax deduction of up to $25,000 per year for cash tips received by workers in traditionally tipped occupations. Additionally, the bill expands the existing tax credit for employer-paid Social Security taxes on tips to include beauty service establishments. These changes are designed to provide tax relief for service workers and support businesses where tipping is customary.

The Hearing Protection Act aims to remove silencers from the purview of the National Firearms Act (NFA) by treating them similarly to standard firearms under federal tax law. This legislation preempts certain state and local taxes and registration requirements related to silencers involved in interstate commerce. Furthermore, the bill mandates the destruction of existing federal silencer registration records and updates federal marking requirements for manufacturers.

The "Make Greenland Great Again Act" authorizes the President to initiate negotiations with the Kingdom of Denmark to acquire Greenland for the United States. The bill establishes a formal process for congressional review, requiring any resulting acquisition agreement to be submitted to specific committees for a 60-day approval period.

The Second Amendment Guarantee Act (SAGA Act) prohibits state and local governments from imposing firearm regulations, taxes, or licensing requirements on rifles and shotguns that are stricter than federal law. Any existing or future local ordinances that exceed these federal standards would be rendered null and void. Additionally, the bill allows individuals to recover attorney’s fees if they successfully challenge non-compliant state or local regulations in court.

The Valor Earned Not Stolen Act of 2025 increases the maximum prison sentence from one to three years for individuals who fraudulently claim to have received military medals, decorations, or combat badges. Additionally, the bill mandates a federal study to identify and address instances where such fraudulent claims have been used to illegally obtain government or veteran benefits.

The REMAIN in Mexico Act of 2025 mandates that the Secretary of Homeland Security reinstate the Migrant Protection Protocols (MPP). This legislation requires that asylum seekers be returned to Mexico to await their U.S. immigration proceedings, effectively codifying the 2019 policy guidance into law.

The Justice for 9/11 Act ensures that Khalid Shaikh Mohammad, Walid Muhammad Salih Mubarak Bin Attash, and Mustafa Ahmed Adam al Hawsawi remain subject to prosecution for the September 11 attacks, regardless of any existing plea agreements. The bill preserves the availability of the death penalty for these individuals and mandates strict confinement conditions at Guantanamo Bay, including solitary confinement and a prohibition on transfer to the U.S. mainland.

The Great Lakes Restoration Initiative (GLRI) Act of 2025 reauthorizes critical funding for the protection and restoration of the Great Lakes ecosystem. This legislation secures $500 million annually from fiscal years 2027 through 2031 to support ongoing environmental recovery efforts.

The Panama Canal Repurchase Act of 2025 authorizes the President to initiate formal negotiations with the Government of Panama to reacquire the Panama Canal. The legislation also mandates that the President provide Congress with a progress report on these negotiations within 180 days of enactment.

The Laken Riley Act mandates the detention of undocumented immigrants who are charged with or convicted of theft-related offenses. Additionally, the bill empowers state attorneys general to sue federal officials for failures in enforcing immigration detention, removal, and parole laws.

The HELP PETS Act prohibits institutions of higher education from receiving federal funding if they conduct painful research on dogs or cats. This legislation includes specific exceptions for clinical veterinary research, as well as studies involving service or military animals.

The Protect Local Farms Act establishes a federal 60-hour workweek floor for agricultural employees. This legislation preempts any state laws that attempt to cap agricultural work hours at fewer than 60 per week, ensuring a uniform standard across the industry.

This bill proposes a constitutional amendment to limit the number of terms a member of Congress can serve. Representatives would be limited to 3 terms and Senators to 2 terms, with specific rules for partial terms. Terms served before the amendment's ratification would not be counted. The amendment must be ratified by three-fourths of the states within seven years to be valid.

The POLICE Act of 2025 mandates the deportation of any immigrant convicted of, admitting to, or admitting to actions constituting the assault of a law enforcement officer. It broadly defines "assault" and "law enforcement officer" and requires the Department of Homeland Security to publish an annual report on the number of deportations carried out under this provision.

The Regulations from the Executive in Need of Scrutiny (REINS) Act of 2025 aims to increase federal regulatory accountability by requiring Congress to approve any "major" rule before it can take effect. Under this legislation, rules with a significant economic impact require a joint resolution of approval from both chambers of Congress to become law. By shifting this authority back to the legislative branch, the Act seeks to ensure greater transparency and oversight of the federal rulemaking process.

The "No Bailout for Sanctuary Cities Act" aims to withhold certain federal funds from state and local governments deemed "sanctuary jurisdictions" that obstruct the sharing of immigration status information or compliance with detainment requests from Homeland Security. These jurisdictions would be ineligible for federal funds intended to benefit individuals in the U.S. without legal immigration status. The Department of Homeland Security is required to report annually to the House and Senate Judiciary Committees on non-compliant states and local governments.

The SERVE Our Communities Act establishes a grant program providing $10 million annually to state and local governments that prioritize public safety and recidivism reduction. To qualify, jurisdictions must allow courts to consider community danger when setting bail and demonstrate active efforts to prevent repeat violent offenses. Grant funds are designated to support reentry services, such as job training and substance abuse treatment, to help individuals successfully transition back into society.
