The "Dignity for Aborted Children Act" requires abortion providers to offer patients the option to take possession of fetal remains for interment or cremation, or to release the remains to the provider for proper disposal. Abortion providers must obtain consent, maintain records, and submit annual reports on abortion procedures and fetal tissue disposal. Non-compliance can result in fines and imprisonment, but patients are exempt from prosecution. The act does not override state laws regarding the interment or cremation of human remains.

This joint resolution nullifies a Department of Energy rule setting energy conservation standards for gas-fired instantaneous water heaters. By disapproving the rule, Congress prevents its enforcement.

The POLICE Act of 2025 amends the Immigration and Nationality Act to make any alien who assaults a law enforcement officer deportable. It requires the Department of Homeland Security to publish an annual report detailing the number of aliens deported for assaulting a law enforcement officer.

The MEDAL Act of 2025 seeks to honor Medal of Honor recipients by increasing their special monthly pension from the Department of Veterans Affairs from $1,406.73 to $8,333.33, recognizing their extraordinary heroism and inspiration to the Armed Forces. The bill maintains the surviving spouse's special monthly pension at $1,406.73, subject to periodic adjustments.

The "Main Street Tax Certainty Act" amends the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to make the deduction for qualified business income permanent. This is achieved by eliminating the expiration date for this deduction. This change provides long-term tax certainty for small businesses.

The "No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion and Abortion Insurance Full Disclosure Act of 2025" seeks to prohibit the use of federal funds for abortions and for health benefits coverage that includes abortion coverage, with exceptions for rape, incest, or to save the life of the mother. It clarifies that premium credits and cost-sharing reductions under the Affordable Care Act (ACA) cannot be used for health plans that include abortion coverage, allowing for separate purchase of abortion coverage without federal tax credits. The Act also requires health plans to transparently disclose the extent of abortion coverage and any related premium surcharges to enrollees.

The "Protecting Military Installations and Ranges Act of 2025" expands the authority of the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) to review real estate transactions near military installations and airspace involving foreign entities connected to Russia, China, Iran, or North Korea. It mandates CFIUS review of certain real estate purchases, leases, or concessions near military facilities and requires certifications to Congress. The Act also puts limitations on the approval of energy projects related to CFIUS reviews.

The PLO and PA Terror Payments Accountability Act of 2025 mandates sanctions on foreign individuals, entities, and financial institutions found to be supporting terrorism through the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) and Palestinian Authority (PA). These sanctions target those involved in the PLO and PA's system of compensation for terrorists and their families. The Act requires the President to impose these sanctions, including blocking assets, visa restrictions, and prohibiting U.S. bank accounts for foreign financial institutions involved. The Act will be terminated if the Secretary of State certifies that the PLO and PA have ceased all payments to terrorists and their families.

The "Protect and Serve Act of 2025" establishes federal jurisdiction over crimes targeting law enforcement officers, particularly those resulting in serious bodily injury or death. It sets penalties, including imprisonment and fines, for offenders who assault officers under specific conditions, such as interstate implications or attacks on federal officers. The law requires the Attorney General to certify the necessity of federal intervention in cases where state jurisdiction is lacking or federal interests are not adequately addressed.

The PRECEPT Nurses Act establishes a $2,000 tax credit for nurses who serve at least 200 hours per year as preceptors in designated health professional shortage areas. To qualify, preceptors must supervise and mentor nursing students, advanced practice nursing students, or newly hired nurses and receive certification from a partnering academic institution or clinical site. The Treasury Secretary will report to Congress on the credit's usage and effectiveness, which is set to expire after 2032. This act aims to incentivize experienced nurses to train the next generation, particularly in underserved communities.

The Whole-Home Repairs Act of 2025 establishes a pilot program providing grants to organizations for whole-home repair programs benefiting eligible homeowners and landlords. These programs will fund modifications, repairs, or updates addressing accessibility, safety, and energy efficiency. Landlords receiving assistance must adhere to affordability and tenant protection requirements. The program prioritizes states with comprehensive implementation plans and aims for diverse geographic representation, with the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development overseeing the program and reporting to Congress.

The FIND Act prohibits federal agencies from contracting with entities that discriminate against the firearm and ammunition industries. It requires federal contractors and subcontractors to certify they do not discriminate against firearm entities, with penalties for violations. This act aims to ensure fair treatment of firearm-related businesses in federal contracting.

The "AMERICANS Act" aims to provide remedies for members of the Armed Forces who faced adverse actions due to the COVID-19 vaccine mandate. It restricts new mandates, prohibits negative actions against unvaccinated service members, and allows those discharged or negatively affected to apply for remedies such as discharge upgrades, reinstatement, compensation, and expungement of records. The Act prioritizes retaining unvaccinated members and limits consideration of vaccination status for deployment and assignment decisions, and provides exemptions for COVID-19 vaccination based on natural immunity, health conditions, or religious beliefs. Additionally, it terminates bonus repayment obligations for those separated for refusing the vaccine and reimburses any prior repayments.

The "Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act" (SAVE Act) aims to ensure that only U.S. citizens register to vote in federal elections by requiring documentary proof of citizenship during voter registration. It amends the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 to include citizenship verification and mandates states to verify citizenship using various databases and federal information. The Act also establishes penalties for registering non-citizens and provides guidance for states to implement these changes.

The "Repealing Big Brother Overreach Act" repeals the Corporate Transparency Act, eliminating beneficial ownership reporting requirements for businesses. It also makes necessary technical adjustments to Title 31 of the United States Code to reflect this repeal. These adjustments involve removing and revising references to specific sections related to the Corporate Transparency Act within existing legal frameworks.

The "Miracle on Ice Congressional Gold Medal Act" authorizes the creation of three Congressional Gold Medals to honor the 1980 U.S. Olympic Men's Ice Hockey Team and their historic "Miracle on Ice" victory. These medals will be given to the Lake Placid Olympic Center, the United States Hockey Hall of Fame Museum, and the United States Olympic Paralympic Museum for public display. The Act also allows for the creation and sale of bronze duplicates to fund the medal production.

The "No Budget, No Pay Act" mandates that Members of Congress will not be paid if Congress fails to pass a budget resolution and all regular appropriations bills by October 1st of each fiscal year, starting September 29, 2027. The chairs of the House and Senate Budget and Appropriations Committees will determine if Congress has met this requirement. Members of Congress will not receive back pay for any period during which Congress did not comply with these requirements. This act aims to incentivize timely budget approvals and appropriations.

The "Thin Blue Line Act" amends the U.S. Code to include the killing or targeting of law enforcement officers, firefighters, and other first responders as an aggravating factor in death penalty cases. This applies if the victim was targeted due to their status or duties as a public safety official.

The "Constitutional Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act of 2025" permits individuals legally authorized to carry a concealed firearm in their home state to do so in any other state that allows concealed carry, provided they possess a valid photo ID and either a concealed carry permit or the legal right to carry without one in their home state. When carrying a concealed handgun in another state, individuals must adhere to the same restrictions imposed on residents of that state. This law does not override state laws regarding the issuance of concealed carry licenses or permits.
