The American Dream and Promise Act of 2025 provides a pathway to permanent residency for eligible individuals who entered the United States as children and those with Temporary Protected Status (TPS) or Deferred Enforced Departure (DED). Title I, the Dream Act of 2025, establishes conditional permanent residency for eligible individuals who entered the U.S. as children. Compensation will be based on the facility's average income from its five most recent flocks, and must be paid within 60 days of a request. It directs the Secretary to work with various entities to collect, sequence, and make genomic data publicly available, while providing funding and assistance. Tribal governments determine whether and when to release data. The act authorizes $2,000,000 annually from 2025-2031 for program implementation.
