The Sinkhole Mapping Act of 2025 establishes a new, federally funded program within the USGS to study the causes of sinkholes. This program is mandated to create and regularly update detailed sinkhole hazard risk maps using specific elevation data. The resulting maps and related information must be made publicly available on a dedicated website to assist community planners and emergency managers.

This resolution formally commemorates the ninth anniversary of the tragic Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando, Florida, on June 12, 2016. It honors the lives lost, recognizes the bravery of first responders, and reaffirms community unity in the face of hate. Furthermore, the resolution calls for continued efforts to reduce gun violence and support those affected by this act of terrorism.

The Protect Patriot Spouses Act simplifies the immigration process for spouses of current or honorably discharged U.S. service members. This bill allows eligible military spouses to adjust their status to permanent resident within the U.S. by waiving certain inadmissibility grounds. Furthermore, it grants the Secretary of Homeland Security discretionary power to waive other immigration violations for these spouses. The Act also ensures that previously removed spouses can apply for benefits under these new provisions from overseas.

The Venezuela TPS Act of 2025 officially designates Venezuela for Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for an initial 18-month period. This allows eligible Venezuelan nationals who have been continuously present in the U.S. since the law's enactment to apply for TPS. The bill also outlines procedures for travel authorization and sets a $360 application fee, with provisions for fee waivers.

The Kissimmee River Wild and Scenic River Act officially designates a specific segment of the Kissimmee River in Florida as a "recreational river" within the national Wild and Scenic Rivers system. This designation places the protected stretch, running between Lake Kissimmee and Lake Okeechobee, under the management of the Secretary of the Interior. The Act also withdraws the federal lands within this boundary from public settlement and mineral/geothermal entry.

The Venezuelan Adjustment Act allows eligible Venezuelan nationals who have been in the U.S. since December 31, 2021, to apply for lawful permanent resident status, providing a pathway to citizenship for those who meet specific requirements and pass background checks. Certain grounds for inadmissibility will not apply when determining an alien's admissibility. The Department of Homeland Security will oversee the application process, with decisions not subject to court review except for constitutional claims or questions of law. This adjustment of status does not reduce the number of immigrant visas available under existing immigration laws.

This bill directs the United States Postal Service to issue a special "Manatee Semipostal Stamp" to raise money for manatee protection.
