The Paula Bohovesky and Joan D’Alessandro Act amends federal sentencing guidelines to ensure that convictions for sexual offenses against minors under 18 count toward specific sentencing enhancements. This change adjusts the rules under 18 U.S.C. § 3559(d)(1)(A) regarding when certain sentencing triggers are met. The goal is to strengthen how prior offenses against children impact current sentencing decisions.

The Home Run for Kids Act establishes a new federal tax credit for families purchasing necessary equipment for their dependent children participating in organized sports or hobby programs. This credit is capped at a maximum of $200 per year and begins to phase out for taxpayers with a Modified Adjusted Gross Income over $150,000. This provision is designed to help offset the costs associated with youth extracurricular activities.

The District of Columbia One Vote One Choice Act prohibits the use of ranked choice voting (RCV) for any election held in the District of Columbia. This ban applies to all elections for public office, as well as any ballot initiatives or referendums. The bill amends federal election law to formally establish this prohibition within the Help America Vote Act of 2002.

The Service-Connected Suicide Compensation Act ensures that survivors of veterans who died by suicide receive dependency and indemnity compensation. This benefit is automatically provided if the veteran had a service-connected mental disorder. The Act establishes a direct link between service-connected mental health issues and eligibility for survivor benefits following a veteran's suicide.

The Affordable Loans for Students Act establishes a sweeping program to lower student debt burdens by automatically refinancing eligible federal loans held by the government to a fixed 2.0% interest rate. It also creates procedures for refinancing other federal loans into new Direct Consolidation Loans at the same low 2.0% rate, without origination fees. Furthermore, new federal student loans disbursed after the Act's enactment will also carry a fixed 2.0% interest rate.

The James Earl Jones Congressional Gold Medal Act directs the Speaker of the House and the President pro tempore of the Senate to arrange for the posthumous presentation of a Congressional Gold Medal to James Earl Jones, honoring his contributions to the United States and his work promoting inclusion in film and theatre. The Secretary of the Treasury will create the gold medal, and bronze duplicates will be made available for sale to the public.

The IVF Access and Affordability Act establishes a new, refundable tax credit for eligible individuals covering expenses related to assisted reproductive technology (ART) treatments. This credit is capped at \$20,000 for individuals or \$40,000 for joint filers, subject to specific income phase-out rules. Unused credit amounts can be carried forward for up to five subsequent tax years.

The PLO and PA Terror Payments Accountability Act of 2025 aims to hold the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) and Palestinian Authority (PA) accountable for providing payments to terrorists and their families by mandating the President to impose sanctions on foreign individuals, entities, and financial institutions involved in facilitating these payments. These sanctions include blocking property, visa restrictions, and prohibiting U.S. bank accounts for foreign financial institutions. The Act will be terminated once the Secretary of State certifies that the PLO and PA have ceased these payments.

The American Victims of Terrorism Compensation Act amends the Justice for United States Victims of State Sponsored Terrorism Act to increase funding for victims of state-sponsored terrorism by redirecting forfeited assets and penalties into the United States Victims of State Sponsored Terrorism Fund. It mandates specific deposit timelines for forfeited funds, requires annual pro rata payments to eligible claimants beginning in 2026, and enhances transparency through detailed annual reports on fund activity. The Act also allows for the use of Department of Justice personnel to aid in the administration of the fund and ensures a supplemental payment to those already approved for fifth-round payments.

The "Doctors in our Borders Act" aims to increase the availability of medical care in underserved areas by raising the number of Conrad 30 waivers from 30 to 100 per state. These waivers allow international medical graduates to remain in the United States after completing their residency, provided they work in underserved communities. This expansion seeks to bring more doctors to areas with limited access to healthcare.

The "Endowment Accountability Act" increases the excise tax on private college and university investment income from 1.4 percent to 10 percent. It also lowers the asset-per-student threshold for defining applicable educational institutions from $500,000 to $200,000. This change is set to take effect for taxable years starting after the Act's enactment.

The Antisemitism Awareness Act of 2025 requires the Department of Education to consider the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance's definition of antisemitism when evaluating discrimination complaints under Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, concerning race, color, and national origin. This aims to address rising antisemitism in educational settings. The IGO Anti-Boycott Act expands existing federal law to prohibit participation in boycotts fostered or imposed by international governmental organizations, not just those by foreign countries. Additionally, the bill mandates that the President submit and publish an annual report detailing all international boycotts covered by these restrictions.
