This initiative provides critical funding to state, tribal, and local organizations to prevent border smuggling and support victims of trafficking. The bill also ensures that these provisions do not create a private right of action against the federal government.

The Constitutional Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act of 2025 establishes a national standard allowing individuals to carry concealed handguns across state lines, provided they are legally authorized to carry in their home state. The bill establishes federal criminal penalties for adults who use minors to gain unlawful entry into the country and mandates improved information sharing between federal agencies. Additionally, it requires the Department of Homeland Security to provide increased transparency through annual reports and monthly public data on trafficking-related apprehensions.

The Sunshine Protection Act of 2025 proposes making daylight saving time the permanent, year-round standard time across the United States. This change would eliminate the need to biannually "spring forward" and "fall back" by shifting all time zones forward by one hour. States currently exempt from daylight saving time would retain the option to remain on standard time.
