The SHIELD Act aims to increase legal representation for individuals facing deportation by establishing the Immigration Legal Services Staff and Infrastructure Development Program. This program will award competitive grants to state and local governments, community-based organizations, and educational institutions to expand the workforce, strengthen legal services, and build infrastructure to support high-quality legal representation. The Act prioritizes training legal professionals, supporting local governments, and addressing representation gaps in underserved areas, while also establishing accountability measures and requiring grantees to report on their activities. The Act authorizes \$100,000,000 for each of the fiscal years 2026 through 2027 to implement this Act.

The CLEAR Skies Act incentivizes the production and sale of unleaded aviation gasoline through a tax credit for producers, aiming to reduce lead exposure. The credit amount varies annually from 2026 to 2030. It also directs the Comptroller General to study the price and market dynamics of unleaded aviation gas and report findings to Congress.

The "People Over Parking Act of 2025" allows property owners of new or significantly renovated buildings within 0.5 miles of public transit to decide how many parking spots to include, regardless of state or local laws. This applies to residential, retail, commercial, or industrial buildings that affect interstate or foreign commerce. The bill defines qualifying public transit access points based on fixed guideways, passenger ferry systems, and bus systems.

This resolution directs the President to submit all unedited documents and communications pertaining to background checks, investigations, and security clearances of individuals associated with the United States DOGE Service or any DOGE agency team, including Elon Musk, to the House of Representatives. The requested documents must be provided within 14 days of the resolution's adoption, contingent on their availability to the President.

The Hatch Act Enforcement Transparency and Accountability Act increases transparency and accountability in the enforcement of the Hatch Act, which restricts certain political activities of federal employees. It requires the Special Counsel to report to Congress on allegations of prohibited political activity, particularly those involving noncareer employees, and to provide detailed explanations for decisions not to pursue complaints. The act also mandates the public disclosure of anonymized data on Hatch Act investigations, including demographic information of employees involved, to enhance transparency and oversight.

The Fair Disaster Assistance Act of 2025 prevents FEMA from sending disaster assistance denial notices to applicants before their insurance claims are fully processed. This ensures individuals are not prematurely denied assistance while awaiting insurance determinations. The Act directs FEMA to establish regulations to implement this change.

The "SEWER Act" aims to enhance public health emergency preparedness by expanding the National Wastewater Surveillance System to detect and monitor infectious diseases through wastewater. It authorizes funding of $150 million per year from 2026 to 2030 for these activities, while ensuring that participation from wastewater utilities and service providers remains voluntary.

The "FLASH Act of 2025" amends the Public Health Service Act to enhance the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority's (BARDA) ability to rapidly acquire critical medical supplies and countermeasures. It broadens the scope of permissible tests and prototypes, allows follow-on production contracts, permits purchases for experimental purposes, and authorizes the acquisition of innovative commercial products and services. The Act also introduces requirements for fixed-price contracts, congressional notification for large contracts, and defines "innovative" technologies.

The ICE Security Reform Act of 2025 separates Homeland Security Investigations from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, establishing it as a distinct entity within the Department of Homeland Security, and renames U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement as U.S. Immigration Compliance Enforcement. It outlines the transfer of functions, personnel, assets, and legal authorities to ensure a seamless transition, while also maintaining the validity of existing legal documents and proceedings. The Act empowers officials to delegate duties and allows for the continued use of existing funds to support terminated programs.
