The "Protecting Veteran Access to Telemedicine Services Act of 2025" enables VA healthcare professionals to use telemedicine for prescribing controlled substances to veterans, even without prior in-person exams. This is intended to increase access to care. The VA Secretary will be responsible for setting the regulations of this new process. The bill does not change existing requirements under the Controlled Substances Act.

The BNA Fairness Act amends the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to exclude the basic needs allowance for members of the Armed Forces from gross income.
