Penalties for the defendant in a civil action include compensatory and punitive damages, injunctive and declaratory relief, and other relief as determined by the court.

The "Protecting America's Cybersecurity Act" addresses the reinstatement and protection of Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) employees, limiting involuntary removals and fund alterations without congressional approval.
