The STAND Act temporarily restricts most non-defense foreign aid spending by the State Department and USAID for 60 days following a declared disaster. This restriction can be waived if Congress passes a joint resolution. The goal of the act is to ensure that taxpayer resources are available to assist Americans during natural disasters.

The Passport Notification Act of 2025 mandates the Assistant Secretary of State for Consular Affairs to notify U.S. citizens with valid passports about their expiration date at least 180 days before expiration. This notification must include instructions on how to renew their passport and where to submit the necessary materials. Notifications can be sent electronically or in paper form. This requirement applies to passports expiring 180 days after the enactment of this Act.

The "Religious Insignia on Dog Tags Act" mandates the Secretary of Defense to update regulations, within 90 days, allowing religious symbols to be combined with Department of Defense trademarks on commercial identification tags sold by licensed vendors. This change is retroactive to September 13, 2013.

This bill urges the NCAA to reverse its current transgender athlete policy, arguing it discriminates against female athletes. It advocates for policies that ensure biological females compete against biological females in collegiate sports. The bill also calls on all sports governing bodies in the U.S. to protect women's sports.

The CCP Visa Disclosure Act of 2025 requires applicants for F, M, and J visas, including their spouses and minor children, to disclose any past or planned funding from the Chinese government, the Chinese Communist Party, or entities controlled by either. Visa holders who receive such funds after their visa is issued must report it within 90 days or risk visa revocation. Current visa holders must also disclose any past or planned funding from these sources.

The "No Support for Terror Act" aims to prevent the International Monetary Fund (IMF) from allocating financial resources to countries involved in genocide or terrorism. It requires the U.S. Treasury Secretary to oppose such allocations and advocate for an IMF rule against them. Additionally, the Act mandates a review of assistance to non-governmental and international organizations to ensure U.S. funds do not support the Taliban, other terrorist groups, or countries harboring terrorists, requiring recipients to verify compliance with U.S. anti-terrorism financing laws.

The Safe Bases Act of 2025 requires the Department of Defense to establish an office for issuing permits that allow active duty military personnel to carry concealed firearms on military bases. To be eligible for a permit, service members must be legally allowed to own firearms under federal law.

The "Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act of 2025" amends Title IX to prohibit schools receiving federal funds from allowing males to participate in female athletic programs. Sex is defined as based on reproductive biology and genetics at birth. The bill allows males to train with female teams if it doesn't deprive females of opportunities. It also requires a study on the benefits lost to women when males participate in female sports.

The "FLY Act" directs the FAA and TSA to establish a system expediting gate pass and flight access procedures, allowing caregivers of minors and those assisting passengers to accompany them to their flights. Qualifying individuals, up to two, will receive gate passes indicating TSA Pre-Check status.

The "Make Marriage Great Again Act of 2025" eliminates the marriage penalty in income tax rate brackets, starting after 2024. It does this by applying the tax table used for single individuals to married couples, but doubling each dollar amount in the table. This ensures married couples are not taxed at a higher rate simply because of their marital status.

The Veterans True Choice Act of 2025 expands TRICARE eligibility to veterans with service-connected disabilities who are eligible for VA healthcare enrollment, allowing them to enroll in TRICARE Select. Veterans enrolled in TRICARE through this provision cannot be concurrently enrolled in the VA patient enrollment system or receive VA medical care. The VA and Department of Defense will create an agreement for the VA to reimburse the Department of Defense for the costs of enrolling these veterans in TRICARE. Implementation will be phased in, with ongoing reports to Congress on enrollment and costs.
