The Climate Adaptation Plan Act of 2025 establishes a grant program within the Environmental Protection Agency to aid local governments, Indian Tribes, and Tribal organizations in developing climate adaptation plans. These plans must assess climate change risks, especially in environmental justice and low-income communities, and outline strategies for risk reduction and community engagement. Priority is given to applicants including environmental justice communities, with no matching requirement for grant funds.

The PIGS Act of 2025 aims to improve animal welfare by prohibiting the intensive confinement of breeding pigs, requiring that each pig has at least 24 square feet of usable floor space. This requirement does not apply during transportation, veterinary procedures, the five days before farrowing, or slaughter. The Act also provides financial assistance to pig producers, especially independent producers, to help them comply with these new standards.

The American Families United Act grants the Attorney General and the Secretary of Homeland Security discretionary authority to provide relief to certain undocumented immigrants who are the spouse or child of a U.S. citizen, if deportation or denial of relief would cause hardship to the citizen family member. This includes the ability to terminate removal proceedings, waive grounds for inadmissibility or deportability, or grant permission to reapply for admission. The Act does not apply to aliens inadmissible or deportable on criminal or security grounds. It also allows for motions to reopen or reconsider denied petitions or removal orders based on the new discretionary authority, with certain time limitations.

The Homeland Security Improvement Act aims to improve border enforcement policies and community relations by establishing an independent oversight commission, creating an ombudsman for border and immigration-related concerns, mandating additional training for CBP agents, and increasing transparency and accountability in border enforcement activities. The act also requires several reports to Congress on border security, migrant deaths, use of force, and the impact of border enforcement on civil rights and liberties, and limits the separation of families at the border.

This bill designates the United States Postal Service facility located at 4400 East Paisano Drive in El Paso, Texas, as the "Enedina Sanchez Cordero Post Office Building." Any reference to this facility in any document will now refer to it as the Enedina Sanchez Cordero Post Office Building.

The "Health Care Providers Safety Act of 2025" authorizes the Secretary to award grants to health care providers. These grants will enhance the physical and cyber security of healthcare facilities, personnel, and patients. Funds can be used for security services, upgrades to physical access, cyber security, video surveillance, data privacy, and structural improvements.
