It expands their authority to acquire land for housing, leverage rental income for housing development, and form partnerships to address housing needs. The bill also facilitates local hiring, expands the seasonal employee pool, and mandates reports and oversight to ensure responsible spending and effective housing policies. These measures seek to enhance the recruitment, retention, and living conditions for employees managing our federal lands.

The "Protecting Americans Right To Silence Act" or "PARTS Act of 2025" amends title 18 of the United States Code to redefine firearm silencers and mufflers. The new definition includes any device designed to diminish the sound of a portable firearm and any single part that serves as the primary housing for sound-reduction components.

The Major Richard Star Act allows veterans with combat-related disabilities to receive both veteran's disability compensation and military retired pay concurrently, without reduction. This act amends Title 10 of the United States Code to ensure that disability retirees with combat-related disabilities are not subject to reductions in retired pay due to receiving veteran's disability compensation. These changes will take effect the first day of the month following the enactment of the Act.

The "Protecting Life and Integrity in Research Act of 2025" prohibits the federal government from conducting, funding, or supporting research using human fetal tissue obtained from induced abortions. It allows for research on fetal tissue from miscarriages or stillbirths and promotes the development of alternative cell lines. The bill also prohibits the solicitation or acceptance of fetal tissue donations from induced abortions.

The "Freedom to Haul Act of 2025" prevents the EPA from enforcing the Phase 3 Greenhouse Gas Emissions Standards for Heavy-Duty Vehicles. It also amends the Clean Air Act to ensure that vehicle emission regulations do not mandate specific technologies or limit the availability of new vehicles based on engine type. The EPA must revise existing regulations to comply with these changes within two years.

The "Choice in Automobile Retail Sales Act of 2025" repeals the EPA's multi-pollutant emissions standards for light and medium-duty vehicles. It also amends the Clean Air Act to prevent regulations from mandating specific technologies in vehicles or limiting vehicle availability based on engine type. The EPA must revise existing regulations to comply with these changes within 24 months.

The "Preserving Choice in Vehicle Purchases Act of 2025" amends the Clean Air Act to limit states' ability to set emission standards that restrict the sale or use of new gas-powered vehicles. It clarifies that state standards limiting gas-powered vehicles are subject to federal regulation and requires the EPA to revoke any conflicting waivers granted after January 1, 2022. This bill aims to preserve consumer choice in vehicle purchases by preventing states from effectively banning gas-powered cars.

The ATF Transparency Act aims to increase transparency and efficiency in the firearm transfer application process. It mandates administrative relief for denied firearm transfer applications, including appeals and reimbursement for attorney fees if the appeal is successful. The bill also requires timely processing of applications, with automatic approval if the Secretary fails to act within 3 business days, and directs reports and agreements related to the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS).
