The Sanctuary Penalty and Public Protection Act of 2025 establishes a federal database to identify and publicly list state and local governments deemed to have policies that obstruct federal immigration enforcement. Jurisdictions placed on this "sanctuary jurisdiction" list will be prohibited from receiving or using any new federal funding. This act aims to penalize local governments that refuse to fully cooperate with federal immigration detainers and enforcement requests.

This bill would require the District of Columbia to recognize valid concealed carry permits or the legal right to carry a concealed firearm held by Members of Congress from their home states. The Modern Worker Empowerment Act establishes a new, two-part test under federal law to determine if a worker is an independent contractor rather than an employee. This test focuses on the degree of control exercised over the work's details and whether the worker has the risks and opportunities of entrepreneurship. The Act applies this updated classification standard to both the Fair Labor Standards Act and the National Labor Relations Act.

The End the Vaccine Carveout Act fundamentally changes vaccine injury compensation by allowing individuals to choose between filing a claim through the existing National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program or suing the manufacturer or administrator directly in court. This legislation removes the liability shield for vaccine makers and eliminates time limits for filing claims with the Program. Additionally, it specifically excludes COVID-19 vaccines from existing countermeasure liability protections.

The National Education Association Charter Repeal Act aims to revoke the federal charter granted to the National Education Association (NEA). This legislation specifically repeals the section of U.S. Code that provides the NEA with its official federal recognition status. In essence, the bill removes the legal standing previously conferred upon the NEA by Congress.

This bill, titled the Epstein Files Transparency Act, mandates the Attorney General to release nearly all unclassified Department of Justice records related to Jeffrey Epstein within 30 days of enactment. The Jeremy and Angel Seay and Sergeant Brandon Mendoza Protect Our Communities from DUIs Act of 2025 amends immigration law to address driving while intoxicated or impaired (DWI/DUI) offenses. This legislation establishes that a conviction for, or admission to the underlying acts of, a DWI/DUI offense makes a non-citizen inadmissible to the United States or deportable if already present. This applies regardless of whether the offense is classified as a misdemeanor or felony under local law.

The OCED Elimination Act officially abolishes the Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations (OCED) within the Department of Energy. This legislation also repeals Section 41201 of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, eliminating associated programs and requirements. In short, this bill shuts down the OCED and removes a specific section of prior energy legislation.

The "No Tax Dollars for Terrorists Act" establishes a U.S. policy to oppose foreign assistance to the Taliban from other countries and NGOs, requiring the Secretary of State to develop a strategy to discourage such support. The Ending Medicaid Discrimination Against the Most Vulnerable Act modifies the enhanced federal funding structure for Medicaid coverage provided to low-income adults. This bill establishes a gradual phase-out of the enhanced Federal Medical Assistance Percentage (FMAP) between 2027 and 2034, with the extra funding ending entirely in 2035. This action will erase all amendments made by the PATRIOT Act, reverting relevant sections of law to their original text as it existed before October 26, 2001. The Protecting the Mailing of Firearms Act repeals the federal ban on mailing certain concealable firearms. The Secure Family Futures Act of 2025 modifies tax treatment for certain debt holdings of applicable insurance companies, excluding specific debt instruments from being treated as capital assets for tax purposes. Additionally, this Act extends the capital loss carryover period to 10 years for specified losses incurred by these insurance companies. These changes apply only to transactions occurring after December 31, 2025.
