The "Protecting Mushroom Farmers Act" aims to support the mushroom industry by directing the Federal Crop Insurance Corporation to research and develop insurance policies for mushroom growing media and mushroom production, addressing risks like pests, pathogens, and weather-related events. This includes evaluating best practices, coverage options, and streamlined reporting to protect against revenue losses. A report on the research findings and recommendations must be submitted to the House and Senate Agriculture Committees within two years.

The "Choices for Increased Mobility Act of 2025" amends the Social Security Act to change how Medicare pays for ultralightweight manual wheelchairs. It mandates separate billing codes for these wheelchairs based on their construction material and ensures suppliers of titanium or carbon fiber wheelchairs are paid without payment reductions. This bill also lets suppliers charge beneficiaries the price difference between the Medicare payment and the wheelchair's cost, with potential requirements for suppliers to disclose out-of-pocket expenses to beneficiaries beforehand.

The Countering Transnational Repression Act of 2025 establishes a working group within the Department of Homeland Security to monitor and counter transnational repression activities, such as harassment and intimidation, targeting individuals in the U.S. by foreign governments. The working group will coordinate with intelligence agencies, review information from various partners, and provide annual reports to Congress on its findings and efforts. The Act also directs research and development into technologies to counter transnational repression, ensuring all activities comply with constitutional and privacy protections.

This bill recognizes the critical role of Black midwives in addressing the maternal health crisis, particularly for Black women who face disproportionately high mortality rates. It designates March 14, 2025, as Black Midwives Day and urges federal, state, and local governments to support and invest in Black midwifery through funding, training, and policy changes. The bill aims to reduce racial disparities in maternal health by increasing access to culturally relevant care and enabling midwives to practice to the full extent of their training. It also seeks to eliminate barriers to entry into the profession and promote equitable healthcare policies.

The "Trump’s Birthday and Flag Day Holiday Establishment Act" would make June 14, recognized as both Donald Trump's birthday and Flag Day, a legal public holiday. This act amends Title 5 of the United States Code to officially include "Trump's Birthday and Flag Day" in the list of federal holidays.

The "DHS Better Ballistic Body Armor Act" mandates that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) procure ballistic resistant body armor specifically designed to protect the body shapes of all agents and officers, ensuring proper fit, coverage, and enhanced protection against bullet redirection. The body armor must be certified by the National Institute of Justice (NIJ) and meet specific ballistic resistance standards, including rigorous testing methods. The Act requires annual reports on the issuance and compliance of body armor, particularly for female agents and officers. All DHS agents and officers requiring body armor for their duties must be issued compliant gear within three years of the Act's enactment.

This resolution requests the President and Secretary of the Treasury to submit documents to the House of Representatives regarding the Department of Government Efficiency's (DOGE) access to Treasury payment systems and taxpayer information.
