The "Let's Get to Work Act of 2025" modifies work requirements for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) by shortening exemption periods for parents and revising exemption criteria. It also extends work requirements to individuals residing in public housing or receiving tenant-based rental assistance, aligning them with SNAP work requirements unless exempt.

The "Preserving Safe Communities by Ending Swatting Act of 2025" increases penalties for individuals who make false reports that cause an emergency response, including fines and imprisonment. Those found liable in a civil action will be responsible for covering the expenses incurred by any party due to the emergency or investigation. The penalties increase significantly if the false information results in serious bodily injury or death. The bill defines "emergency response" to include actions by both government and private organizations involved in public safety, such as law enforcement, fire services, and rescue operations.

The "STOP MADURO Act" increases the maximum reward to $100,000,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Venezuelan leader Nicols Maduro Moros. Funds for the reward will come from seized assets of Maduro, his regime officials, and their associates. This action is based on findings that Maduro and his lieutenants allegedly ran a narco-terrorism partnership with the FARC, intending to flood the United States with cocaine.

The "Protect Our Seniors Act" aims to safeguard Medicare and Social Security benefits by making it more difficult for the Senate to pass legislation that would reduce them. It establishes a point of order against bills that cut these benefits, requiring a two-thirds Senate vote to waive this rule. Additionally, the act prevents using Medicare savings to offset costs in unrelated areas of legislation, also requiring a two-thirds vote to bypass this restriction.

The "Homeowners Premium Tax Reduction Act of 2025" allows homeowners to deduct up to $10,000 in homeowners insurance premiums for their primary residence, reducing their adjusted gross income and overall tax burden. This deduction applies to taxable years after the law is enacted.

This joint resolution proposes three amendments to the U.S. Constitution: granting the President line-item veto power over spending, imposing term limits on members of Congress, and requiring a two-thirds majority in both houses of Congress to pass any legislation that raises taxes or fees. These amendments would take effect upon ratification by three-fourths of the states within seven years.

The Sunshine Protection Act of 2025 would make daylight saving time permanent across the United States, effectively eliminating the need to change clocks twice a year. It repeals the section of the Uniform Time Act that allows for standard time and adjusts time zone offsets from Greenwich Mean Time. States that previously opted out of daylight saving time would have the option to choose between the new, permanent daylight saving time or the previous standard time.
