This legislation removes the liability shield for vaccine makers and eliminates time limits for filing claims with the Program. The PRIME Act, or Processing Revival and Intrastate Meat Exemption Act, exempts custom slaughter facilities from federal inspection requirements for meat that is processed and sold only within the state of origin. To qualify, facilities must comply with all applicable state laws regarding slaughter and preparation. This legislation ensures that states retain the authority to enforce their own, potentially stricter, regulations on local meat processing.

The Unlocking our Domestic LNG Potential Act of 2025 centralizes the approval authority for all U.S. natural gas export and import facilities, including LNG terminals, exclusively with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). This legislation mandates that FERC must automatically deem such gas trade as being in the public interest during the review process. Furthermore, the Act explicitly preserves the President's existing authority to impose sanctions on gas imports or exports involving designated state sponsors of terrorism.

The Fuel Emissions Freedom Act aims to eliminate all federal and state regulations concerning vehicle fuel emissions and fuel economy standards. Proponents argue this will reduce consumer costs and regulatory uncertainty for manufacturers. The bill explicitly repeals key sections of the Clean Air Act and U.S. Code related to these standards. Consequently, it prohibits both federal and state governments from establishing or enforcing future emission limits for motor vehicles.

This legislation mandates severe, immediate sanctions against key Russian officials, financial institutions, and energy sector entities, including asset freezes and trade prohibitions. Furthermore, the Act dramatically increases import duties on Russian goods and requires the President to review and reimpose these measures until Russia negotiates a lasting peace with Ukraine.

The NICS Data Reporting Act of 2025 mandates that the Attorney General annually report data on all failed firearm background checks conducted through the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS). This report must be submitted to Congressional Judiciary Committees. The required data breakdown includes demographic information such as race, age, and sex, where available.

The Physician Led and Rural Access to Quality Care Act revises physician self-referral rules to improve healthcare access in underserved areas. Specifically, it creates a new exception allowing physician self-referrals to hospitals located in designated rural areas that meet specific distance requirements. Furthermore, the bill removes existing restrictions that previously limited the expansion of services at physician-owned hospitals.

The VOTE Act, or Voting Only Through English Act, restricts federal election funding for any state that provides ballots in languages other than English for federal elections. This bill eliminates existing federal requirements that mandate bilingual ballots or assistance in certain jurisdictions. Consequently, states choosing to offer multilingual ballots risk losing federal election administration funds for the entire fiscal year.

The Department of Government Efficiency Act, or DOGE Act, codifies Executive Order 14210 into permanent law. This action elevates the directives and rules established in the Executive Order to the full authority of a statute passed by Congress. Essentially, the provisions of the order are now legally binding requirements.

The SAFER Voter Act seeks to eliminate the age restriction that prevents individuals under 21 from purchasing handguns and handgun ammunition from licensed federal firearms dealers. This bill would amend title 18 of the United States Code, specifically sections 922(b)(1) and 922(c)(1), to allow adults 18 and over to purchase handguns.

The Susan Muffley Act of 2025 ensures that eligible participants and beneficiaries under specific pension plans, like the Delphi and PHI retirement programs, receive their full vested benefits. It directs the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) to recalculate benefits, provide lump-sum payments for past-due amounts with interest, and establishes a trust fund within the Treasury to cover these increased payments. This bill proposes to eliminate the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). It would cut off all federal funding to USAID starting from the bill's enactment date. Any unspent funds previously allocated to USAID would be rescinded and transferred to the Secretary of State, along with all remaining assets and liabilities of the agency.
