Finally, it outlines ways to enhance U.S. assistance to Georgia, particularly if the country revitalizes its democracy and Euro-Atlantic integration.

The "Miracle on Ice Congressional Gold Medal Act" authorizes the presentation of three Congressional Gold Medals to honor the 1980 U.S. Olympic Men's Ice Hockey Team for their historic "Miracle on Ice" victory. These medals will be given to the Lake Placid Olympic Center, the United States Hockey Hall of Fame, and the US Olympic and Paralympic Museum for public display. The Act also allows for the creation and sale of bronze duplicates to fund the medal production.

This resolution expresses the House of Representatives' support for the Second Amendment right to bear arms, and opposition to the Biden administration's policies that restrict this right. It supports efforts to reverse these policies and protect gun owners' rights. The resolution also commends President Trump's commitment to defending the Second Amendment.

Recognizes the crucial role of linemen in maintaining the nation's energy infrastructure and public safety. It also supports designating April 18, 2025, as National Lineman Appreciation Day to honor their contributions and dangerous work.

The "DHS Special Events Program and Support Act" formally establishes a special events program within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to assess and provide security support for certain pre-planned events that are not designated as National Special Security Events. This program allows federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial officials to request a special event rating to receive security and situational awareness support from DHS. The Act mandates annual reports to Congress on the program's activities and periodic assessments to ensure its effectiveness, as well as directs research and development of technologies to enhance security at mass gatherings.

The Pet and Livestock Protection Act of 2025 directs the Secretary of the Interior to remove the gray wolf from the list of endangered and threatened wildlife, as previously established in the 2020 rule. This action must be completed within 60 days of the Act's enactment. The Act explicitly prohibits any judicial review of this reissuance.

The Enhanced Iran Sanctions Act of 2025 aims to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons and countering its support for terrorism by imposing sanctions on those involved in Iran's energy sector and those who provide financial support for its destabilizing activities. It mandates sanctions on foreign entities involved in processing, exporting, or selling Iranian oil, gas, and petrochemicals, while also establishing an interagency working group to coordinate and enforce these sanctions. The Act also amends existing legislation to require the identification of individuals involved in sanctionable activities or sanctions evasion related to Iranian oil and gas sales.

The Open RAN Outreach Act requires the Assistant Secretary to conduct outreach and provide technical assistance to small communications network providers. This outreach will increase awareness of the uses, benefits, and challenges of Open RAN networks and other open network architectures. It will also encourage participation in the Wireless Supply Chain Innovation Grant Program.

The Affordable Housing Credit Improvement Act of 2025 aims to increase affordable housing options by updating state housing credit formulas, refining tenant eligibility rules, and improving credit eligibility and determination. This includes adjusting income verification processes, modifying student occupancy rules, and protecting domestic abuse victims. The bill also focuses on Native American and rural assistance by addressing housing needs in Indian areas and streamlining income eligibility for rural projects. Additionally, it revises rules for exempt facility bonds and renames the "low-income housing tax credit" to the "affordable housing tax credit" while encouraging data sharing and discouraging discriminatory land use policies.

The "Anti-CBDC Surveillance State Act" prohibits Federal Reserve Banks from offering financial products or services directly to individuals, maintaining accounts for individuals, or issuing a central bank digital currency (CBDC) directly or indirectly. It also blocks the Federal Reserve from testing, creating, or implementing a CBDC, or using it to implement monetary policy, without explicit congressional authorization. The bill clarifies that these restrictions do not apply to digital versions of the dollar that are open, permissionless, and private, like physical currency.

The "RIFLE Act" repeals the existing tax on firearm transfers outlined in Section 5811 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986. Additionally, it amends related sections of the code to align with the repeal. The act clarifies that it does not grant the Consumer Product Safety Commission any authority over firearms regulated under the Internal Revenue Code.

The "Stop Harassing Owners of Rifles Today Act" or "SHORT Act" modifies firearm regulations by redefining "firearm" under the National Firearms Act, removing short-barreled rifles and shotguns from certain restrictions, and preempting state laws that tax, mark, record, or register these weapons. The Act also mandates the destruction of records related to these specific weapons held by the Attorney General.

The "Freedom from Unfair Gun Taxes Act of 2025" prevents states and local governments from imposing excise taxes on firearms, ammunition, and firearm parts if the manufacturers or dealers are engaged in interstate or foreign commerce. This act does not affect the Pittman-Robertson Wildlife Restoration Act.

This bill reauthorizes the military and civilian partnership for trauma readiness grant program. The program aims to improve trauma care by fostering collaboration between military and civilian healthcare providers. It extends the program's authorization through fiscal year 2029.

The First Responders Retirement Parity Act allows governmental pension plans to include certain firefighters, emergency medical technicians, and paramedics who work for public safety agencies under contract with a political subdivision of a State. This inclusion will not affect their status as governmental plans under the Internal Revenue Code and the Employee Retirement Income Security Act. This change ensures that these first responders receive the retirement benefits they deserve for their service. The act applies to plan years beginning after the enactment date.

The Air America Act of 2025 authorizes the Director of the CIA to award payments to former employees of Air America and affiliated companies who supported the U.S. government between 1950 and 1976, or to their survivors. Eligible individuals or their survivors could receive up to $40,000 for five years of qualifying service, with additional amounts for longer service, with a cap on total awards at $60 million. The Act establishes application procedures, limitations on attorney fees, and prohibits judicial review of the Director's decisions, while also requiring regular reports to Congress on the status of the award payments. This act does not qualify anyone for federal benefits like retirement, disability, or death benefits.

The "Down East Remembrance Act" designates six creeks in North Carolina with new names to honor Noah Styron, Hunter Parks, Kole McInnis, Stephanie Fulcher, Jacob Taylor, and Daily Shepherd. It mandates that all federal references to these creeks be updated to reflect these new designations.

This bill extends combat zone tax benefits to members of the U.S. Armed Forces performing services in Kenya, Mali, Burkina Faso, and Chad. It ensures that these service members receive the same tax advantages as if they were serving directly in a designated combat zone. The benefits apply when the service members are eligible for special pay due to hazardous duty in these areas. This adjustment recognizes the risks and sacrifices of military personnel serving in these specific locations.

The Major Richard Star Act allows eligible combat-disabled veterans to receive both their retirement pay and disability compensation. This eliminates the previous offset that reduced retirement pay for those receiving disability compensation. The changes apply to payments beginning the month after enactment.
