The Restore Department of Veterans Affairs Accountability Act of 2025 aims to improve accountability within the VA by streamlining the process for removing or disciplining employees, including supervisors and senior executives, for misconduct or poor performance. It sets specific timelines and standards for disciplinary actions, emphasizing the use of substantial evidence and limiting external review of penalties. The bill also protects whistleblowers and ensures that disciplinary actions are based on a thorough consideration of the employee's record and the nature of the offense. These changes will apply retroactively to misconduct or performance issues that occurred after the enactment of the Department of Veterans Affairs Accountability and Whistleblower Protection Act of 2017.

The FIND Act prohibits federal agencies from contracting with entities that discriminate against the firearm and ammunition industries. It requires federal contractors and subcontractors to certify they do not discriminate against firearm entities, with penalties for violations. This act aims to ensure fair treatment of firearm-related businesses in federal contracting.

The VA Home Loan Awareness Act of 2025 requires that the Uniform Residential Loan Application include a disclaimer informing applicants that they may qualify for a VA Home Loan if they have served in the military. It also requires the Comptroller General of the United States to conduct a study on whether lenders are including the disclaimer.

The "Repealing Big Brother Overreach Act" repeals the Corporate Transparency Act, eliminating beneficial ownership reporting requirements for businesses. It also makes necessary technical adjustments to Title 31 of the United States Code to reflect this repeal. These adjustments involve removing and revising references to specific sections related to the Corporate Transparency Act within existing legal frameworks.

The "Miracle on Ice Congressional Gold Medal Act" authorizes the creation of three Congressional Gold Medals to honor the 1980 U.S. Olympic Men's Ice Hockey Team and their historic "Miracle on Ice" victory. These medals will be given to the Lake Placid Olympic Center, the United States Hockey Hall of Fame Museum, and the United States Olympic Paralympic Museum for public display. The Act also allows for the creation and sale of bronze duplicates to fund the medal production.

Sarah's Law mandates the detention of aliens who were not inspected upon entering the U.S., had a revoked nonimmigrant visa, or violated their visa terms, and are charged with a crime resulting in death or serious bodily injury. It requires the Department of Homeland Security to inform victims and their families about the alien's identity, immigration status, criminal history, custody status, and removal efforts. The law also ensures that it does not diminish any rights crime victims have under existing laws.

The "No Budget, No Pay Act" mandates that Members of Congress will not be paid if Congress fails to pass a budget resolution and all regular appropriations bills by October 1st of each fiscal year, starting September 29, 2027. The chairs of the House and Senate Budget and Appropriations Committees will determine if Congress has met this requirement. Members of Congress will not receive back pay for any period during which Congress did not comply with these requirements. This act aims to incentivize timely budget approvals and appropriations.

The "Thin Blue Line Act" amends the U.S. Code to include the killing or targeting of law enforcement officers, firefighters, and other first responders as an aggravating factor in death penalty cases. This applies if the victim was targeted due to their status or duties as a public safety official.

The Sporting Firearms Access Act of 2025 amends Title 18 to streamline the importation process for firearms and ammunition intended for sporting purposes like hunting and target shooting. It sets deadlines for import request decisions, requires detailed explanations for denials, and prohibits denial of imports for items substantially similar to those already available in the U.S. The bill also provides avenues for hearings and judicial review for denied applications, ensuring a fair and transparent process.

The "Justice for Jocelyn Act" aims to limit participation in Alternatives to Detention programs, mandating GPS tracking and curfews for aliens on ICE's nondetained docket. It requires that aliens can only be released into Alternatives to Detention programs if all detention beds are full and all efforts to detain have been exhausted. The bill also mandates removal for aliens who fail to comply with release conditions, and ensures that if any part of the Act is found unconstitutional, the remaining parts will remain valid.

The "Constitutional Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act of 2025" permits individuals legally authorized to carry a concealed firearm in their home state to do so in any other state that allows concealed carry, provided they possess a valid photo ID and either a concealed carry permit or the legal right to carry without one in their home state. When carrying a concealed handgun in another state, individuals must adhere to the same restrictions imposed on residents of that state. This law does not override state laws regarding the issuance of concealed carry licenses or permits.

The PRINTS Act aims to prevent child trafficking by requiring the Department of Homeland Security to collect fingerprints from noncitizen children under 14 entering the U.S. when trafficking is suspected. It criminalizes adults who exploit minors to gain entry into the U.S. and mandates information sharing between Homeland Security and Health and Human Services. The Act also requires the Secretary of Homeland Security to provide annual reports to Congress and publish monthly data on apprehensions of child traffickers.

The "Transnational Criminal Organization Illicit Spotter Prevention and Elimination Act" increases penalties for obstructing immigration, border, and customs controls. It establishes new federal crimes for sharing information about law enforcement activities with the intent to further a federal crime, and for damaging or evading border control devices. The act also enhances penalties for alien smuggling when a firearm is involved and extends the statute of limitations for related offenses.

The Separation of Powers Restoration Act of 2025, or SOPRA, enhances judicial review of agency actions. It empowers courts to independently interpret laws and regulations, ensuring a check on agency interpretations. This applies broadly to judicial reviews unless explicitly exempted by law.

This joint resolution proposes a constitutional amendment to limit the terms of members of Congress. Representatives would be limited to three terms, while Senators would be limited to two terms. Terms served before the amendment's ratification would not count towards these limits. The amendment must be ratified by three-fourths of the states within seven years to become valid.
