The "Fix FEDVIP Age Act" amends existing law to extend Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program (FEDVIP) coverage to include dependent children under the age of 26.

The Honoring Our Fallen TSA Officers Act amends the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 to include Transportation Security Administration (TSA) employees in the Public Safety Officers' Benefits program. This ensures that TSA officers who die or are injured in the line of duty while protecting the nation's transportation systems are eligible for death benefits. This law applies retroactively to injuries occurring on or after October 31, 2013.

The "Mortgage Debt Tax Forgiveness Act of 2025" permanently extends the exclusion of forgiven mortgage debt from an individual's gross income, applying to qualified principal residence indebtedness discharged after December 31, 2025. This means homeowners will not have to pay income taxes on the amount of mortgage debt that is forgiven by their lender.

The "Mortgage Insurance Tax Deduction Act of 2025" permanently extends the deduction for mortgage insurance premiums. This allows eligible taxpayers to continue deducting these premiums, reducing their overall tax liability. This change is effective for amounts paid or accrued after December 31, 2024.

The Department of Veterans Affairs Continuing Professional Education Modernization Act increases the reimbursement amount for continuing professional education expenses for certain full-time health care professionals of the Department of Veterans Affairs. The bill requires the Secretary to reimburse certain health care professionals up to $2,000 per year and allows the Secretary to adjust the dollar amounts, provided that the reimbursement is not less than $2,000 per year for each individual.

This bill expresses the House of Representatives' support for naming new or unnamed Department of Veterans Affairs facilities after women and minority veterans. This is intended to recognize their historical and ongoing contributions, honor their service and sacrifices, and better reflect the diversity of the U.S. Armed Forces.

The WISER Act of 2025 aims to support women veterans involuntarily discharged under Executive Order 10240 by establishing a program to upgrade their discharge status, allowing them to be treated as if they completed their assigned duty for the purpose of VA benefits. Additionally, the bill creates a one-time compensation benefit of $25,000 for eligible women veterans or their surviving spouses. Eligibility is presumed for veterans separated under Executive Order 10240, or those who experienced childbirth, custody, adoption, or incomplete pregnancy within 10 months of separation. The Department of Veterans Affairs and the Department of Defense will administer these programs.

The Methane Border Adjustment Mechanism Act introduces a tax on imported petroleum and natural gas based on the methane emissions associated with their production. The tax rate is determined by comparing the volume of the substance to the total volume produced in its country of origin, relative to the total methane emissions charge for that country, as if facilities there were subject to Clean Air Act standards. The Act directs the Secretary of the Treasury to establish an international body for setting emissions standards and encourages major importing countries to adopt similar mechanisms. This aims to reduce global methane emissions and promote cleaner energy practices.

The "Protecting Homeowners from Disaster Act of 2025" repeals the limitation on deducting personal casualty losses. This change allows taxpayers to deduct losses from disasters and casualties on their federal income taxes, offering financial relief to those affected. This applies to losses sustained in taxable years beginning after December 31, 2024.

The "Improving Menopause Care for Veterans Act of 2025" directs the Comptroller General to study and report on the menopause care services provided to veterans by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The report will assess various aspects of VA's menopause care, including access, quality, training, and research. Following the report, the VA Secretary must submit a strategic plan to Congress detailing how the VA will implement the report's recommendations to improve menopause care for veterans.

The Veterans Infertility Treatment Act of 2025 requires the Department of Veterans Affairs to provide infertility treatments, including up to three IVF cycles resulting in a live birth or 10 attempted cycles, to eligible veterans and their partners. It permits the use of donated gametes or embryos with proper consent and covers travel expenses for partners. The Act also defines key terms and requires the VA to issue regulations for implementation within one year, while expanding services to include partners of veterans, regardless of marital status, and the use of donated gametes or embryos in the interim.

The Dental Care for Veterans Act aims to improve veterans' access to dental care by integrating it more closely with other medical services provided by the Department of Veterans Affairs. This bill removes specific limitations and updates existing code to allow the Secretary to provide comprehensive dental care, including dentures and appliances. The implementation of these expanded benefits will be phased in over four years, prioritizing veterans based on existing eligibility criteria. Additionally, the bill makes necessary clerical updates to reflect these changes in the U.S. Code.

The Equal Access to Contraception for Veterans Act ensures veterans do not pay more for contraception than the Secretary of Veterans Affairs pays for the medication. Additionally, it eliminates copayments for contraceptive items if health insurance coverage is required without cost-sharing under the Public Health Service Act.
