The Streamlining American Manufacturing Strategy Act updates the National Institute of Standards and Technology's (NIST) requirement for updating its advanced manufacturing strategic plan. This bill changes the required update frequency from every three years to every four years. This adjustment aligns NIST's planning cycle directly with the established schedule for the National Strategy for Advanced Manufacturing.

The INFORM Act of 2025 mandates that Homeland Security must notify the immediate family of any individual transferred between immigration detention facilities within 24 hours. This notification must include the reason for the transfer and contact information for the new location. The Act broadly defines "immediate family" to cover a wide range of relatives, including step- and foster-family members.

The STEM Pathways for the Future Act establishes a new competitive grant program through the National Science Foundation (NSF) to create and improve STEM apprenticeship programs outside of traditional four-year colleges. This legislation prioritizes funding for community colleges and minority-serving institutions to develop these pathways.
