The Supporting Healthy Moms and Babies Act mandates that essential health benefits under the ACA must comprehensively cover prenatal, childbirth, neonatal, perinatal, and postpartum care for one full year. This legislation explicitly bans all cost-sharing, including copays and deductibles, for these essential maternity and newborn health services. The bill ensures robust coverage, including specific requirements like mandatory ultrasounds and mental health services for new parents.

The Supporting Our Surviving Spouses Act removes the statute of limitations for certain survivor benefit claims filed by the spouses of armed forces members who died in the line of duty on or after September 11, 2001. This change allows eligible survivors to file these specific claims at any time after the law is enacted. The bill ensures that no deadline prevents these survivors from seeking entitled benefits.

This bill officially renames the Maine Forest and Logging Museum in Bradley, Maine, to the National Museum of Forestry and Logging History. This designation formally recognizes the museum's importance to the nation's forestry and logging heritage. The change is effective immediately across all federal records and documents.

The Family Income Supplemental Credit Act (FISC Act) establishes a program providing monthly payments to pregnant women and caregivers of eligible children, with payment amounts varying based on the recipient's status and the child's age, subject to income-based phase-outs and limitations. It also repeals the existing child tax credit, replacing it with this new family income supplement program. The program will be managed by the Commissioner of Social Security, who will establish regulations and reporting systems, and it is set to take effect one year after enactment.

The "Future in Logging Careers Act" amends the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938, defining "timber harvesting employer" and "mechanized timber harvesting employer". It modifies child labor provisions for 16 and 17-year-olds in hazardous logging occupations, except when employed by their parent or guardian. These provisions are applicable based on the type of timber harvesting activities performed by the employer.

The "Northeast Fisheries Heritage Protection Act of 2025" prohibits commercial offshore wind energy development in Lobster Management Area 1 in the Gulf of Maine. This bill introduces a duty on imported goods, starting at 10% of their value annually. This duty can increase by 5% if the U.S. has a trade deficit or decrease by 5% if there is a trade balance or surplus, but not below zero. These duties are in addition to any existing duties.
