The Taiwan International Solidarity Act clarifies that U.N. Resolution 2758 did not address Taiwan's representation and directs the U.S. to advocate for Taiwan's role in international organizations. It also encourages allies to resist China's efforts to undermine Taiwan's relationships and requires a report on China's attempts to diminish Taiwan's international presence. The Act reinforces U.S. opposition to changing Taiwan's status without the consent of its people.

This resolution acknowledges the 50th anniversary of Black April and the Fall of Saigon, honoring the Vietnamese American community's contributions to the U.S. and their pursuit of freedom and democracy. It recognizes the sacrifices of the South Vietnamese and U.S. militaries during the Vietnam War, while reaffirming the U.S. commitment to human rights and freedom for all, including in Vietnam. The resolution encourages Americans to remember Black April and celebrate the Vietnamese American community.

The Equality Act amends existing civil rights laws to explicitly include protections against discrimination based on sex, sexual orientation, and gender identity in areas such as public accommodations, employment, housing, credit, and jury selection. It clarifies and expands the definition of sex to include sex stereotypes, pregnancy, childbirth, related medical conditions, sexual orientation, gender identity, and sex characteristics. The act ensures equal access to shared facilities and prohibits the use of the Religious Freedom Restoration Act of 1993 to justify discrimination. Ultimately, the Equality Act seeks to provide consistent and comprehensive protections against discrimination for LGBTQ+ individuals and women across various sectors.

The "PROSPER Act of 2025" authorizes the Attorney General to award grants to eligible entities for youth gun violence prevention programs. These evidence-informed, culturally competent, trauma-informed, and inclusive programs will focus on healing, empowerment, mental health support, community engagement, and reintegration. The act allocates \$25,000,000 of juvenile justice program funds from 2026 through 2030 specifically for these youth gun violence prevention grants. Eligible entities include institutions of higher education, Indian Tribe government agencies, community-based organizations, and local government agencies that are not law enforcement.

This bill recognizes April 2025 as "Community College Month" to celebrate the significant role of community colleges in providing accessible higher education, workforce training, and economic support across the United States. It acknowledges the extensive contributions of over 1,000 community colleges, which serve millions of students and contribute significantly to the national GDP. The resolution highlights the importance of these institutions in fostering economic prosperity and community vitality.

The Drone Espionage Act amends existing law to prohibit the recording and transmission of video of defense information, enhancing protections against espionage. This update to 18 U.S.C. § 793 broadens the definition of prohibited materials to include video, addressing modern methods of information gathering.

The Safer Neighborhoods Gun Buyback Act of 2025 authorizes the Director of the Bureau of Justice Assistance to award grants to states, local governments, tribal governments, and licensed gun dealers for gun buyback programs using smart prepaid cards that cannot be used to purchase firearms or ammunition. The Act allocates funds for the buyback of firearms, requires the destruction of collected firearms and ammunition, and mandates database checks to determine if any collected firearms were used in a crime. It also establishes a criminal penalty for using smart prepaid cards to purchase firearms or ammunition. $360,000,000 is authorized for each of the fiscal years 2025 through 2027 to carry out this title.

This bill supports the designation of April 11-17, 2025, as "Black Maternal Health Week" to raise awareness about the maternal health crisis affecting Black women and birthing people in the U.S. It recognizes the unacceptable disparities in maternal mortality rates, where Black women are significantly more likely to die from pregnancy-related causes than White women. The bill urges Congress to address systemic racism and promote equitable access to resources, healthcare, and comprehensive maternal health programs for the Black community, while also supporting policies like the Black Maternal Health Momnibus Act. It aims to amplify Black voices, invest in community-led solutions, and increase funding for Black-led organizations and perinatal professionals.

The Caribbean Anti-Smuggling of Trafficked Arms Act (CAST Act) mandates a report from the Secretary of Defense on the feasibility of expanding the Joint Interagency Taskforce South's mission to combat illegal arms trafficking in the Caribbean. This report will assess required adjustments to treaties, estimate costs, address force depletion, and evaluate necessary coordination between law enforcement agencies. The report is due to specific congressional committees within 180 days of the Act's enactment.

The "Pursuing Equity in Mental Health Act" aims to improve mental health outcomes for racial and ethnic minority groups by increasing funding for research, training, and outreach programs. It directs the National Institutes of Health to study mental health disparities, promotes culturally competent healthcare practices, and requires the development of a national outreach strategy to raise awareness and improve access to mental health services within these communities. The Act authorizes increased funding for various programs and research initiatives to address mental health disparities.

The "Sinkhole Mapping Act of 2025" directs the United States Geological Survey to establish a program to study the causes of sinkholes and create maps identifying areas with a higher risk of sinkhole formation. These maps, utilizing 3D elevation data, will be updated at least every five years. A website will be created to provide community planners and emergency managers with access to these maps and related information.

This resolution requests the President to submit documents and communications to the House of Representatives regarding the termination, reassignment, or administrative leave of federal employees and Inspectors General, particularly those influenced by Elon Musk or related to DEI roles. The request covers actions and communications since January 20, 2025, including those related to workforce reduction and the removal of agency inspectors general. The President is required to provide these unedited documents within 14 days of the resolution's adoption.

This resolution requests the President to submit documents to the House of Representatives regarding potential conflicts of interest of Elon Musk. The documents should pertain to Musk's involvement with the Federal Government, including his role with the United States DOGE Service, government contracts involving entities he owns or controls, and any related conflicts of interest. The President is required to provide these unredacted documents within 14 days of the resolution's adoption.

The Enhanced Iran Sanctions Act of 2025 aims to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons and countering its support for terrorism by imposing sanctions on those involved in Iran's energy sector and those who provide financial support for its destabilizing activities. It mandates sanctions on foreign entities involved in processing, exporting, or selling Iranian oil, gas, and petrochemicals, while also establishing an interagency working group to coordinate and enforce these sanctions. The Act also amends existing legislation to require the identification of individuals involved in sanctionable activities or sanctions evasion related to Iranian oil and gas sales.

The "Closing the Bump Stock Loophole Act of 2025" outlaws devices that accelerate a semi-automatic firearm's firing rate or simulate machine guns. It redefines "semi-automatic firearm" and requires current owners of affected devices to register them. There are exceptions for governmental entities, and lawful transfers of registered devices are permitted.

This resolution requests the President to submit documents to the House of Representatives regarding the use of insecure electronic communication platforms for official business and the Administration's adherence to federal record laws. It seeks information on plans to preserve official communications, particularly those involving national security information, and to prevent the deletion of records on platforms like Signal and WhatsApp. The request covers communications on both government and personal devices and demands unredacted copies of relevant documents within 14 days.

The Haiti Criminal Collusion Transparency Act of 2025 requires the State Department to report on links between Haitian political and economic elites and criminal gangs, and it mandates sanctions on foreign individuals identified as being involved in this collusion. The President can block transactions, deny visas, and revoke existing visas of those sanctioned, with exceptions for humanitarian aid and national interest waivers. This act aims to address how collusion between elites and gangs threatens the Haitian people and U.S. interests, but will terminate 5 years after enactment.

The American Family Act establishes a refundable child tax credit with monthly advance payments, providing up to $300 per month per child, and creates a $500 tax credit for other dependents. The amount of the credit is reduced based on the taxpayer's income, with initial reductions starting at $150,000 for joint returns. The IRS will make monthly advance payments and establish an online portal for taxpayers to manage their payments and provide necessary information. This act terminates the existing annual child tax credit after 2024 and aims to provide regular financial support to families.

The "Hands Off Medicaid and SNAP Act of 2025" prevents any reconciliation bill from reducing Medicaid enrollment or benefits, or SNAP eligibility or benefits, through January 20, 2029. It amends the Congressional Budget Act of 1974 to enforce this protection, ensuring these vital programs remain untouched by budget cuts. Violations of this act will be subject to a point of order.

This bill terminates the national emergency declared by the President in Executive Order 14257 on April 2, 2025. The termination is enacted as per section 202 of the National Emergencies Act.
